Comparison

Next to BambooHR, Gusto and Rippling.

They are HR platforms and payroll systems, and they are good at it. We are not trying to replace them and this page does not pretend otherwise. What none of them do is read your staff records against the regulation you are actually surveyed on, every morning, and tell somebody. That is the whole difference, and it is why the price works the way it does.

Feature by feature

Where they are better, it says so. Prices and features were checked in September 2026 against each vendor’s own published material; BambooHR and Rippling do not publish a full rate card, so their figures come from current reported pricing.

What HR Workforce costs next to them, at 25, 50 and 100 employees

A month, at list price, before add-ons. This is the part that decides it for most agencies: every one of them charges by headcount, and we do not.

Read it honestly. At 25 people, Gusto Simple and Rippling, core HR only cost less than HR Workforce, and BambooHR Core does too if you pay us month to month. Gusto Simple also runs your payroll, which we do not. What none of them does is check a single Condition of Participation, screen anybody against the exclusion list, or notice that an aide’s licence expired last Tuesday. At 50 and at 100 people, HR Workforce costs less than every plan on this table whichever way you pay, and the gap widens every time you hire.

Most agencies end up with both

And that is the right answer, not a concession.

Keep your payroll

Gusto, Rippling, Paychex, ADP or a bookkeeper. Whatever runs payroll today keeps running it. Schedule one export to one address and we read what it already produces.

Add the part that is missing

The clinical rulebook, the exclusion screening, the licence verification, the survey readiness and the morning brief. None of it exists in an HR platform, because an HR platform is not written against 42 CFR.

Pay once, not per head

$249 a month billed annually, or $299 month to month, for a facility, whether it has eleven people or a hundred and eleven. Growth stops being a line item.

BambooHR and Rippling quote rather than publish, so two buyers of the same size may pay differently.
